These Books Take A Unique Approach
Guidebook 1, subtitled Building on the Rock , sets the stage by pointing out the benefits of planning. Since most students have not done much planning, it helps them see the advantages of taking a proactive approach. Then it underlines the importance of constructing a foundation on the God who holds their future. The book also explores God's design for work, ways He worked, is still working, and shows how He wants us to be fellow workers with Him.

Guidebook 2, subtitled Planning with Purpose, advances several reasons to perform at our personal best and to develop a strong sense of purpose.  Since God doesn't intend for us to work alone, it explores seven reasons to team up with Him. It asks students to catch a vibrant vision—to grab hold of an eternal perspective. Students are then asked to identify purposes that will inspire and motivate them when they enter the workforce.

Guidebook 3, subtitled Finding Direction , explores seven ways God guided people in the Bible.  Then students are asked to consider whether God may also be guiding them in one of these ways. Since one of the ways He guides is through the counsel of others, students are given a step-by-step procedure for finding an adult who would be willing to meet with them and advise them. (These are adults who have worked in the field of interest to them.)

Upon completing the set of guidebooks, students will be able to enter the workplace with a stronger sense of purpose and direction.
